We know it’s a long time between updates, but we know RYKRISP lovers are judicious in their on-line/email time because they are fun people and out doing interesting things. We’ve also been heartened by the continued comments pointing out what makes RYKRISP special. We love reading those. Keep them coming.
But to the serious business of the business, namely whether we are making any progress with our lawsuit. And the answer is that we think so. We have finally gotten to the point that a trial has been scheduled a number of months from now. We have sought this for a long time. as its gives a concrete end point…the so-called light at the end of the tunnel.
Thanks again for all the comments as we work to get RYKRISP back into the hands and mouths of our loyal consumers.
Keep up the fight!!!!
🙂

Karen – Thx! Nice sentiments. Ted L
When I learned RYKRISP might be making a market comeback … I was elated – .still am.
I’ve been looking for suitable substitute for a long time … seems every few years I’d get the hankering for RYKRISP.
And, I would begin a concerted search … all to no avail.
I’m hoping that in due time … I’ll find RYKRISP satisfaction … sooner rather-than later.
Alejandro – Thanks for the kind words. On the case! Ted L
is the product sold in the northern Virginia suburbs of Washington dc?
Sydney – Worth checking the posts to get up to speed 🙂 . We have been out of production for a couple of years due to a lawsuit. We are doing our best to win as plaintiffs, so we can clear the deck for the business going forward. Do sign up here for updates, and we will post you when progress is made. Thx, Ted L

A wonderful – a best of foods for “O” type blood – and any other, who cares enough to treat their body with the goodness RYKRISP offers/ gives!!!
Great comment. Thanks for it. Hadn’t before heard the “O” reference. We seem to be making progress in court. Should end this autumn. All the best, Ted L
I think I am behind times…………why is it can’t find “Seasoned RYKRISP” crackers in the grocery stores? Thx, Susan
Funny…yes, a bit behind. We are wondering why you haven’t been eating them. I think you may have checked a few of the updates here to get you up to speed, and thanks for checking in. Hoping to remedy the situation this year. Ted L

Absolutely my favorite cracker. I had purchased a case of RYKRISP from Amazon just before the lawsuit and had my funds returned because it was still not available as yet. Im so excited to think it still is a possibility it will return to stores. I will continue to check on your progress, Good luck!
Thanks for keeping the faith. Ted Leavitt
When, oh when will these be back in the market place. Soon we can only hope. Keep fighting!
Our trial as plaintiffs is in October. We should have a good idea then. Thanks for keeping the faith. Ted L
Ate lots of RYKRISP as a kid. I’ve tried all the look alike and don’t like any of them.
Will you be able to email your fans when the issue is resolved?
Pete – Thanks for the comments. I think most would agree 🙂 . The best way to have us get in touch would be to sign up for updates and we’ll notify you. I am guessing you did so, but they are on the home page. We don’t bug you much, just for key events like that. All the best, Ted Leavitt
First time to your page.
We love and miss RYKRISP and look forward to enjoying it again soon!
Much success to you!

Been looking at the store for the crackers… finally went online to discover that they stopped making my favorite seasoned RYKRISP … so sad… please bring them back..!!

Seriously praying for a favorable outcome at trial.
Grew up in Chicago and a salad bar was not complete without RYKRISP, Pickled Herring and Liver Pate.
If I had known that it’s days were numbered, I would have purchased it by the case and rationed it.
“Cold Turkey” is more than a wee bit painful.
Thanks for the words of support. We certainly hope to win. Ted L
Wishing you all the best. Looking forward to eating your product again.
Thx!!! Ted Leavitt
Is there any newer update, it is August already
Randall – Thanks for the continued interest. The trial is scheduled for mid October and after that, we should have a clear view forward. It has been on the docket for a long time but the courts don’t do anything quickly. All the best, Ted Leavitt
I miss my RYKRISP and I am so hoping that lawsuit will conclude successfully for all of us who love and miss our RYKRISP. Thank you for all you are doing to bring RYKRISP back to the market.
Lydia – Thanks for the kind words. Ted Leavitt
Please come back. There just is no substitute for RYKRISP.
Jeanne – Thanks. Hoping the end of this saga is nearing with a trial scheduled for mid October. It’s been a long time. Ted L
looking fir a reappearance! my mom died in 2007
at 90 yrs of age. she always had some in the kitchen.
loved them with a spread of butter and a glass of milk.
gosh they were good dunked. my brother and I would see how long we could soak a cracker, and get it to our mouth before the bottom fell in the milk. So sad when I could find them anymore. I so much would like to eat them again! hurry, getting older everyday…
Carolyn – Thanks for that nice story. On the case. Ted L
Please prevail, RyKrisp! You are sorely missed … I still look for those delicious crackers every time I go to the store – alas, to no avail. Hopefully someday soon we’ll see you again!
Jana – Thanks for those kind words. Trial is schedule mid October, so we hope this saga is nearing an end. All the best, Ted L
Miss you!!
🙂 . Thx!
Did you know that rye flour is very low in oxylates? Oxylates are those molecules that make kidney stones and also make calium less available in our bodies. I’m cutting back on oxylates in my diet so I want to replace my whole wheat breat with RyKrisp. Best wishes for being back in production soon.
Karen – We knew certain health benefits, but “oxylates” is a new one for us. Thanks for that heads up, as we’ll look into it. Everything associated with health is obviously a good thing. All the best, Ted Leavitt
For years I have purchased RyKrisp. Please bring back!!! Especially loved the seasoned ones. I’m 83 years old and have eaten them for a long, long time.
Jan – Sorry for the slow reply. Thanks for being a long-time fan and hoping we can get back in the market to meet your RyKrisp craving! All the best, Ted Leavitt
Please fix this, this is stupid.
Derrell – Apologies for the slow reply. Fixing means winning our litigation. There is no other option when you are a small company. But we hear you loud and clear. Thanks, Ted Leavitt
Hope that you can bring RyKrisp back. They are missed!
Thanks for the comment. We miss them too, and are still on the case. Should have a resolution and direction in the next 45 days. Thanks, Ted Leavitt
We only found your website and these posts today. For a long time, we’ve searched for Ry Krisp of knäckebröd or hardtack and found nothing. We had no idea a lawsuit was happening. What is it about and what can we do to, if anything, to help you along? My family is Swedish from Finland and and my husband’s mother’s family is from Sweden. Both of grew up eating Ry Krisp and have been incredibly sad with the loss. We always had it with soups or stews and innumerable times as hors d’oeuvres. Thank you for your continuing efforts.
Elodie(née Englund) & Gary Cadonau
Thanks for the note and apologies for the slow reply. We have our trial next week, so hopefully this saga will soon end with an update for all. Thanks for being fans. Ted Leavitt
Nothing better then RyKrisp with chicken spread. Please keep us in touch when it will be back.
Trial is next week. The end and a better update will come soon. Thx! Ted
I’m not giving up hope
still looking forward to being able to eat them again.
I,ve also changed my e-mail address
Thx. Trial starts next week. We shall soon know direction. Ted
I just read the news that RyKrisp won the court case and have been awarded $8.3 million for punitive damages as well as other damages. So very happy that you were successful in your legal efforts! It appears that the decision as to whether to begin production again is still being determined. As is evidenced by many e-mails from RyKrisp loyalists over the last three years, there are MANY of us who sincerely hope that RyKrisp crackers will return to millions of shoppers who have been patiently waiting for the best rye cracker made to return. All others pale in comparison. Congratulations for your court victory and hoping for the best.
Tina – The win is good, but not worth anything until we collect. That is an effort. Thanks for the words of support. Ted L
